Your doctor's office staff will schedule your admission and will tell you whether you will:

Be admitted as an inpatient, which means you will be hospitalized in Smithville Regional Hospital after the procedure.

Be admitted as an outpatient which means you will go home the same day of your surgery.

You will need to pre-register with an admission clerk prior to your date of admission

Please contact our office at (512) 237-3214 or visit our business office during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will need to bring any insurance information with you in order for SRH to properly see that all authorizations are obtained prior to your visit. Your doctor may have you do pre-op testing, and this can be done in conjunction with your pre-registration.
